Funding & Grants
Funding Your Next Move.
Financing is what stalls most small business deals. So we cover both sides: lending to fund the deal, and grants to support it.

The foundation of almost every deal. We line it up in-house so it moves with you.
SBA 504
Long-term, fixed-rate financing for owner-occupied real estate and heavy equipment, with a low down payment.
SBA 7(a)
Flexible financing that can combine real estate, a business purchase, and working capital in one loan.
Conventional commercial
Bank financing for owner-users and investors when speed and simpler terms matter.
Equipment and working capital
Financing for the vehicles, machines, and cash flow a growing business runs on.

Grants
Let us be straight with you: most small business grants run from a few thousand dollars up to around 25,000 dollars, they are competitive, and they are meant for operating costs. A grant supports a deal, it does not replace financing. Used right, it still moves the needle.
Categories We Track
We list categories, not specific programs, because grant openings change constantly. Our clients get current matches, and the tracker helps everyone stay on top of deadlines.

Have these ten things in order and you can move fast when a grant opens. They are in the tracker too.
Funding Questions
Are grants free money?
Grants do not have to be paid back, so in that sense yes. But they are competitive, usually smaller dollars, and come with applications, deadlines, and reporting. Think of a grant as a boost that supports a deal, not a replacement for financing. Most funded deals still rely on a loan as the foundation.
Can I get a grant to buy commercial property?
Rarely. Most small business grants are meant for operating costs like equipment, marketing, training, or hiring, not for buying real estate. Property purchases are almost always funded with SBA or conventional financing, and a grant might help with related costs around the move.
Who qualifies for women-owned or veteran-owned programs?
Most of these programs require the business to be at least 51 percent owned and controlled by someone in that group, for example a woman, a veteran, or a service-disabled veteran. Documentation of ownership is usually required, and we help you get your paperwork grant-ready.
Do you charge to find grants?
Grant matching and research is free for FVR Commercial clients. We fold it into helping you lease, buy, or acquire, because funding is part of getting the deal done. Everyone can also download our free grant tracker to manage it themselves.
